The daily ritual

During the night, the body moves. With this movement, the down within the duvet also shifts, usually slightly towards the foot of the bed. This is a natural process and requires no special attention, as long as the down is shaken regularly.

Space and air

By gently shaking the duvet each day, the down is given room to redistribute itself. Down holds air, and it is this air that provides warmth. When the down can breathe freely, it retains the qualities for which it was chosen.

A simple ritual

Daily shaking is therefore not an additional task, but a simple ritual that contributes to the longevity of the duvet. With this small act of care, the down remains light, evenly distributed and in good condition for many years.
